The story behind the name: Happy Moone
Happy Moone is a tribute to two small souls who changed everything.
Moone was my beloved dog—my constant companion, my grounding force, and a source of unconditional love. She passed away in 2020 the very soon after I found Happy, a tiny sparrow who would go on to reshape my entire life. In that moment of loss and unexpected connection, a doorway opened.
Happy became the spark that brought to life every dream I had been quietly building for fifteen years: publishing my children’s book, speaking to students, creating meaningful films, and using storytelling to inspire kindness and connection.
The name Happy Moone honors the beautiful overlap of those two beings—one who guided me through love, and one who pushed me into flight. Together, they represent the heart of everything I create: stories born from compassion, resilience, and the belief that even the smallest lives can change ours forever.
